Dateline December 4, 2006: Fun in the sun was given away in 2005 by Sea Quest Kids courtesy of Sunsail Charter Company of Annapolis, Maryland. Contest winners Howard and Lauren Wolf of Long Island just came back from their week long stay at the gorgeous Sunsail Colonna Sailing Resort.

There is no better way to tell the story than in the words of the Wolf’s reaction to being at Colonna Sailing Resort:

Howard Wolf bought the winning tickets at the New York National Boat Show. He spotted us again at the Miami Boat International Boat Show. You never know where good fortune will show up and you can’t hit the target unless you pull the trigger!

It was such a great pleasure for Sea Quest Kids to award the trip to Howard and Lauren Wolf and to work with Sunsail Charters. Originally Sea Quest Kids were going to go to Long Island to make the award presentation, but a transit lockdown in New York City this past winter prevented them from making the trip out to Long Island. Sea Quest Kids are planning to raffle more charters in the future so check out the Web site: www.seaquestkids.org . Or go to the major boat shows to find them to see what other contests are being held. Sea Quest Kids will be kicking off the Boat Show Season at the New York National Boat Show followed immediately by the Atlanta Boat Show. From there it is on to Atlantic City and Miami. Our Midwest Great Lakes team is gearing up to go to get started in the boat shows in the Great Lakes region.
