Dateline September
21, 2006 You are asking, Ò What is Sea Quest Kids and Advance America
Foundation doing at an International Karate Tournament? Ò Sea Quest Kids as
part of the Film and Television Division of Advance America Foundation was
hired by Foundation supporter, Red Hot Entertainment, to help shoot and edit
the International Shin Do Kumate Tournament in Tampa, Florida. The Film and Television Division of
Advance America Foundation is a means for the Foundation to earn money that it
needs to operate instead of completely depending on donations.
Advance America Foundation and Sea Quest Kids are working
with Red Hot Entertainment of New York City in a joint effort to produce
numerous projects in film and television.
They are joined at the hip as it were by Pat Corbitt who is the
FoundationÕs Executive Vice President of External Affairs as well as the Film
and Television Division and also a partner in Red Hot Entertainment, LLC. You will see the Sea Quest Kids trailer
on location as the production trailer for many projects.
After four days of High Definition action shooting AAF Film
and Television Division had some ÒRed HotÓ entertainment footage to take back
to the editing studio in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Work commenced immediately after Executive Vice President
Pat Corbitt returned from Orlando and after Steve Gronka returned from the Sea
Quest Kids exhibit at the Atlantic City In-Water Power Boat Show.
The footage is shot on High Definition Digital Tape and
then must be captured by a computer on a disk drive. From there the magic begins. Corbitt has an outstanding career in film and television
production having been one of the first producers of Network Sports for ABC,
NBC, and CBS. Gronka has some
pretty decent credits of his own including having been the Coproducer of the
music video that helped launch the career of Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Using the latest technology in
hardware and software the dynamic duo of Corbitt and Gronka made the butterfly
appear from the computer cocoon.
In order to meet expanded project requirements and an exceptionally
tight airdate deadline, the editing required an around the clock operation.
Shin Do Kumate X TV Show is an
example of the advanced shooting and television editing capabilities of Advance
America Foundation and Sea Quest Kids in house Television and Film Production
Division.
